Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
?A Business Analyst III will be required to understand, utilize and embrace the Family Dollar System Development Life Cycle. ? This individual will have experience in business analysis, including; how to assess business needs, gather business requirements and assemble deliverables. The individual will be required to write test scripts and have an understanding of functional testing with the ability to analyze the results and interpret the findings to the business as well as technical developers. This individual should have an understanding of Retail as it relates to Real Estate. Real Estate application systems knowledge is a plus, including; work flow Management, Real Estate site acquisition, lease Administration and other related processes. This individual must work well in a team environment. ?Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Technical Understanding (Ability to explain functional requirements to Technical Analysts and Designers)Knowledge of Retail systems, replenishment and/or allocations systemExperience in developing Quality Assurance and testing guideline for new software implementation and Product enhancementsProject Management Certification/Experience (full lifecycle)Interviewing Skills (business users)Issue/Problem ResolutionTime Management/Multi TaskingExcellent Written/Verbal Skills (documentation/presentation, flowcharts)Basic SQLUnderstanding of business function's needs, goals, and objectives; Business unit focused. Ability to educate, consult and advise the business to define workable solutions options to meet the business's needs. ?General Summary:The Business Analyst III position?will?support corporate initiatives by gathering, analyzing and documenting?business requirements, researching and recommending best practices, and delivering end products that meet business objectives on time and on budget. ??As a key member of the Solutions Delivery team, the Associate will be a liaison between Information Technology and the Business Customer.
