Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Manager of Corporate Compliance will lead the Compliance Team to ensure Unity Health System is in full compliance with regulations related to billing Coding and documentation and will work to eliminate the risk of deficiencies and/or citations from external enforcement activity, complaints and/or payment errors. Minimum of a BA or BS in Health Care Administration, Health Information, Finance, or other healthcare related discipline. Experience Minimum of five years experience working in Compliance with extensive knowledge of CMS, Medicaid and Regulations related to Coding, billing, and documentation. Candidate must have a demonstrated ability in consistently applying regulations, guidelines and policies to daily operational practice. Solid working relationship with Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, Patient Accounting, Utilization Management, MedicalStaff, Ancillary Staff and Key Clinical Department Leadership. Knowledge and experience in Healthcare Compliance, including expansive knowledge of federal and state regulations, documentation and billing requirements. Required Certification/Licensure Certification in Healthcare Compliance preferred. Special Skills Solid knowledge of standard audit procedures, mandatory compliance program requirements, and OMIG and OIG audit process. Knowledge of health care billing, Coding, documentation, risk, and confidentiality requirements. Excellent communication skills required, including organization, technical Writing, Teaching, oral, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with health system personnel at all levels including Clinical and operational Staff, MedicalStaff and senior health system leadership. Must be self motivated and have the ability to recognize and prioritize projects and work independently and as a team.
