On-Call Customer Service Representative

Key responsibilities include:
 
· Consistently provide excellent and proven customer service skills
· Operating switchboard, mailing, copy and fax equipment
· Shipping & Receiving
· Answer multi-line switchboard and greet visitors professionally and quickly
· Pick-up and deliver mail, copy jobs and faxes to customers
· Lift large bundles of overnight packages and shipments of paper
· Demonstrate flexibility in dealing with schedules and personailities, dependability and work well with minimal supervision.
· Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages
· Maintain copier equipment
· Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a
  friendly and cooperative attitude
· Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high
  volume, production environment
· Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
· Take direction from supervisor or site manager
· Participate in cross-training
· Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail
· Adhere to all safety procedures
· This is an on-call position which means there are no guarantee
  scheduled hours to work/nor be off work (must be available to work as needed)
  The on-call position is utilized to cover shifts during vacations, absences, etc. 
 
PBMS provides on-the-job training and structured training classes. New employees learn excellent customer service practices and study how to run mail, copy or fax equipment.

PBMS is currently seeking entry-level On-Call candidates who are customer service oriented and career-minded; and, who are able to work in a fast paced production environment.
Although experience is preferred, it is not necessary.
 
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
· Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience required
· Minimum of 6 months demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related
  functional area preferred
· Mailing, copying, and faxing experience preferred
· Ability to speak clearly with enthusiasm to customers
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
· Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
· Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
· Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required
· Lifting up to 55 pounds
· Standing for long periods of time
· Significant walking
· Receptionist/switchboard experience preferred
· Flexible to be on-call to work as needed (M- F, day shift)
· Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background
