Software Integration Consultant: Investment Management Trading Systems

Overview:

We specialize in consulting, integration, and application development for the investment management industry.  We are looking for software integration consultants with strong technology skills as well as functional/product expertise in buy-side trading/order management systems. Because of the sensitivity of our clients, we choose to hire confidentially. The software integration consultant will be responsible for:

(1) Integrating industry standard Trading & Compliance systems such as Charles River, Linedata, LatentZero within financial services firms.

(2) Interface Development utilizing, database, file, and services based architectures.

(3) Data analysis associated with the trading and compliance needs of equity, fixed income, and international clients.

(4) Design and development of ‘add-on’ applications to enhance the capabilities of industry standard software applications.

We are seeking both junior and senior candidates for this position.  Successful candidates have generally worked in a technical capacity at investment management firms or at software/consulting firms targeting the investment management industry.


Qualifications:


(1) 3 -15 years of technical experience in the financial services industry.

(2) Familiarity with industry leading Order Management/Trading systems such as Charles River, Linedata, MacGregor, and LatentZero.

(3) Fundamental understanding of securities industry/securities processing.

(4) Strong Relational database skills (Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server).

(5) High-Energy, Creative, and Disciplined.

(6) Interest in expanding technical capabilities and learning development skills in new technologies.

(7) Travel required
